BUILT FOR THE HANDOFF

A starting point
you can maintain.

This is a documentation kit, not remote IT support or backup software. It helps you record and verify your own arrangements; it does not guarantee recovery or certify compliance.

Use the files with your IT provider. Review the contacts and recovery information whenever a system, provider, or responsible person changes.

Before you start

Do I put passwords in it?

No. Record a location and an authorized custodian. Keep passwords, MFA codes, recovery codes, and keys in your approved secure storage. Restrict access to the completed kit too.

What if I don’t know an answer?

Leave it unverified and add an action with an owner. The guide includes questions to ask your provider and a handoff meeting agenda.

Does it include IT support?

No. The purchase is for downloadable templates and instructions. It includes no monitoring, incident response, custom setup, or ongoing service.

Can I give it to my IT provider?

Yes, for work on your business. The license allows internal use and sharing with your service providers for that purpose. Resale and redistribution as a template are not included.
